The Brief
A national cultural landmark.
The Royal Opera House Muscat was commissioned by Royal Court Affairs as the Sultanate's premier venue for musical arts. The OMR 80M programme required uncompromising delivery discipline across multiple specialist trades — structural steel, acoustic isolation, decorative finishes, and theatrical systems — on a fully integrated baseline.
PKAS Intervention
Programme leadership at COWI standard.
As Senior Planning Engineer at Carillion Alawi LLC, Arunachalam led the Primavera P6 baseline, weekly progress monitoring, and contract reporting against COWI's project management standard. The schedule integrated coordination between architectural intent, structural consultant Wilbur Smith International, and specialist theatrical sub-contractors.
